After the two year pause a formal comeback to painting was necessary in 1981. This recommencement was searched for through extensive experiments. The constants were always dominance of color, the fixation of areas, the optical quality of appearance, the homogeneity of color application and the concentration of geometric vocabulary. One of these experiments worked with the opposites exterior and interior. Color can create an outer frame as well as the content within it. The border and the bordered color. A further parameter of color design is therefore introduced: the mode of action. The opening of poetic space is all the more clearly emphasized.
