A tendency becomes stronger this year that was already noticeable in 1992. The contours of the color areas and thus the complete structure of the picture becomes simpler. The formal complexity recedes. In this lies a return to clear forms, but not to basic geometric forms. Where the impression of rectangles are given is in reality almost rectangles. Strong parallels are avoided, as are right angles. With the pattern layering of the 80s such a variation from the right angle is systematized. Now the angle, in contrast, is intuitively and freely decided. For this reason, the form eludes an exact definition. It is always only an approximate value. Precision is inherent more to color than to form.
